Wilson Falls Group Hike Sunday April 19

Join us for our first group hike of the season, an easy 1.2 km walk one way to Wilson Falls from the trailhead parking area, or 2.2 km from the Wilson Lake FSR. The elevation change is about 100 m, descending to the creek level below the falls. While short, it is a real hike with steep sections, lots of roots, and slippery rocks near the creek. Care and good balance are required. The effort will be worthwhile. The falls should be roaring in spring freshet.

The Wilson Lake FSR is well graded gravel and 2 wheel drive accessible. The final 1 km access road to the trailhead is steep and may require higher clearance.

We will meet at Mountain Top Coffee in Nakusp at 9 am Sunday, figure out who rides with whom, and drive together to Wilson Falls. Bring lunch or a snack.
