Wilson Falls Group Hike Sunday April 27

Join us for our first group hike of the season, an easy 1.2 km walk one way to Wilson Falls from the trailhead parking area, or 2.2 km from the Wilson Lake FSR. The elevation change is about 100 m, descending to the creek level below the falls. While short, it is a real hike with steep sections, lots of roots, and slippery rocks near the creek. Care and good balance are required. The effort will be worthwhile. The falls should be roaring in spring freshet.

The Wilson Lake FSR is well graded gravel and 2 wheel drive accessible. The final 1 km access road to the trailhead is steep and may require higher clearance.

We will meet at Mountain Too Coffee in Nakusp at 9 am Sunday and drive together to Wilson Falls. Those who wish to make their own way may meet us at the trailhead at 10 am.
