9 snowshoers enjoyed what is most likely our last group outing of the season, traveling 3 km oneway from the Hot Springs parking lot to one of the big gulleys and bridges down the Hot Springs Trail. It was a beautiful warm, late winter day. Lots of snow has melted but the trail was still deeply covered and packed, but soft, so snowshoes were essential. We stopped for lunch and sat in a line on the trail below the steep gulley slope.
