Ten hopeful snowshoers enjoyed a beautiful day winter hiking to the Tandy Cabin via the Jackrabbit Trail on Sunday, February 22. There was snow in the woods but none on the trail so we donned hiking boots and grips for the slippery sections. We had lunch and snacks on the Taddy Cabin porch. Thanks to Frank Kennedy for secretly clearing the trail before the hike and the Arrow Lakes XCountry Ski Club for maintaining and repairing the cabin.
