Michele N and Bob T cycled the Nakusp Summit Lake Rail Trail from Summit Lake to Gensick Road at Hilltop in Nakusp. The trail was generally in fair shape for motorized ATVs, walking and Mountain or Gravel bikes with larger tires. The trail has been cleared of deadfall by members of the Arrow Lakes ATV. While passable, the trail could use grading and new crush or fill in numerous locations. Large potholes or dips fill with water and may pose a bit of a challenge for hikers and cyclists in wet conditions. No issues were encountered crossing the Fox farm on the trail even thought the owners were aware of our presence.
